Lea Michele to Replace Beanie Feldstein in ‘Funny Girl’

Following the news that Beanie Feldsteinis leaving the Broadway restoration of Funny Girltwo months early,

it was declared that Lea Michele has been given a role as her substitution. Michele, who recently featured in the first cast of

Spring Awakening, will assume control over the lead job as Fanny Brice.

Michele will officially assume control over the job beginning Sept. 6, while current backup Julie Benko will expect the part from Aug. 2 to Sept. 4 and on Thursdays starting Sept. 8.

It was likewise reported that Tony candidate and Walking Dead entertainer Tovah Feldshuh will supplant Michele's previous Glee co-star,

Jane Lynch, as Mrs. Brice. Feldshuh will make her presentation in Funny Girl close by Michele on Sept. 6. This intends that notwithstanding Feldstein,
